CT has a long, successful history in the consultancy business: our consultancy firm started as early as 1945 with the establishment of a tax consultancy practice in Oldenburg, Germany. The current firm of auditors and tax consultants developed out of this.

COMMERZIAL TREUHAND GmbH was established in 1972 as an audit and tax consultancy company.

In 1979, a national joint partnership was created, based in an office in Vechta, Germany that had been in existence since 1946. In subsequent years, audit practices in Bremen, Bremerhaven and Hanover – which had been partly established in 1932 – were assimilated into the firm.

In 1990 the CT offices in Berlin and Rostock were established.

In 2005, we can look back on [more than] 60 years in the consultancy business in Oldenburg.
